A little about Californication
Californication is an American comedy drama which centers on Hank Moody, played by David Duchovny. Hank Moody is a novelist who has recently moved to Los Angeles. His movement to Los Angeles elaborates his relationship with his ex-girlfriend. Becca is his 12 year old daughter and he still has feeling for her. Show’s theme is about a writer who tries to juggle his career. His relationship with her ex girlfriend and his daughter is covered deeply through the episodes of series.
Various mixed emotional stories were covered and it met with mixed reactions from viewers of the show. Groups from Australia and New Zealand boycotted the show because of its explicit nature of drug and sex laden scenes. Series was premiered on August 13, 2007 and it ran for a very successful season.
Currently, second season from series has been announced and it is set to be premiered in September.
