Californication season 1 was premiered on 8-13-2007 and the season opener was entitled ‘Pilot’. Season opener introduces us with Hank Moody who’s a thirty something sex-addicted writer. He has been a boy friend to many girls throughout his life and recently he has moved to Los Angeles. Now, his intuition is to stay in touch with his former girlfriend and his 12 years old daughter, Madeline. Various other plot developments were- Hank starts working as a blogger at Hell-A-Magazine; Becca explores how Hank met Karen; Mia attempts to steal some of Hank’s work; Hank interrupts Charlie’s interlude; Hank accepts to speak at Mia’s high school creative writing class; Hank’s father AI dies so he seems very depressed; Hank takes Becca to buy a new guitar; Hank learns the truth and confronts Mia; Becca makes Karen aware that she wants to move in with her father; Hank and Charlie meet with a woman at the gym; Charlie takes Hank to buy a new car and he’s very much thrilled by this offer. Season comes to an end on 10-29-2007 with the episode entitled ‘The Last Waltz’. On this episode, Hank must deal with Karen’s wedding and Becca’s first period. At Karen-Bill wedding is coming, Hank competes to accept what appears to be inevitable meanwhile Hank makes a unique plan to meet with Becca’s surprise visitor.

Becca announces that she wants to move in with her father and Karen is very much surprised by her decision. Charlie and Dani represent Mia after she has written a book, but Charlie knows it very well that it’s Hank’s work actually. Later on, Hank learns the truth and confronts Mia.
